Masham Neighbourhood Plan
Constitution
1. The Masham Neighbourhood Forum (MNF) has been established by Masham Parish Council to create a Neighbourhood Plan for the parishes of Masham, Burton upon Yore, Swinton and Warthermarske. The duration of MNF will be 5 years from the date of establishment.
2. MNF will develop a Neighbourhood Plan which promotes the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of the parishes for the next 15 years, which represents (through communication and consultation) the views of all people living within the community.
3. MNF will consist of a Committee with a Chairman and voluntary members drawn from as many interest groups as are deemed necessary to provide wide representation from within the parishes. Officers such as Treasurer and Secretary will be appointed as need arises, as will particular sub groups.
4. MNF is responsible to Masham Parish Council, and is unincorporated.
5. MNF will meet as often as is deemed necessary to deliver the Neighbourhood Plan in a timely way.
6. A public website will be established, which will declare the vision and intent of MNF, and detail the officers and members of MNF, with declared interests and/or potential conflicts of interest. Meeting minutes and any other documents of public interest will also be published on the website.
